BURY ME IN SCOTLAND

Because I am a Scotsman to the clan that I belong  My family came from Scotland so won’t you come along  From the Highlands to the lowlands and from the mountains to the seas… To the loch Ness in the Glens a vision comes to me. Walking through the clover and ferns are in the sun, the lilies by the shore   I feel that we are one. My heart belong to Scotland I want the world to see the hills that bring the magic and the love inside of me.

Chorus:

Bury me in Scotland where the grass is greener then the rest     Retuning to the Clan display our family Crest     My heart belong to Scotland they’ll all come to see As they lay me in the ground what Scotland meant to me

Years of war that she’s seen with the English they have fought  To gain their independence the fighting of the Scot’s The battles that were fought supporting each and all  The spilling of the blood, So many had to fall

Chorus:                                Bury me in Scotland where the grass is greener then the rest  Retuning to the Clan displaying the family Crest  My heart belong to Scotland they’ll all come to see As they lay me in the ground what Scotland meant to me
