FIRST KISS

You’ll have one chance to place the kiss a journey not to miss. So move within this sacred ground to the magic of the kiss. Tenderness you two will share in the moment of the touch. A place so pure like holy ground a time endeared so much.

You find yourself within her reach there is no other sound. Silence prevails as time stands still your heart will start to pound. You’ll have the moment within her eyes and find the soul within. Your hands will guide the tender touch your head will start to spin.

Chorus:

You’ll have a chance to live a dream so when you meet someone Guide your hands with a tender touch you may find that she’s the one.

 As your hands then touch her tender ears your heart will start to dance. The guard will fall as you let go you’ll start to feel romance. You’ll move your hands beside her lips her eyes will see your soul. The breath is lost as you move in her eyes will start to close.

Your eyes will roll with heart’s desire as your lips will set the fire. The memories placed in the kiss lie within that hour. So take the chance so you won’t miss and dream that you will find. The one to share the moment of…. “THE KISS”…that once was mine.

Chorus:

You’ll have a chance to live a dream so when you meet someone Guide your hands with a tender touch you may find that she’s the one.

I’M A RED NOSE DEER

I

Chorus:

My name is Rudolph I’m a red nose deer. I’m the sleigh guider that special day a year. I work with Santa when he brings the gifts For everyone that’s made the list.

I’m not one to complain I love my job you see. But that fat man had better stop leaning on me. I know my nose is frosty and my huffs are getting worn. But that big man needs to stop eating those cookies He’s already an extra forty pounds I’m pulling. Man I wish he’d lose some weight. And how come we never hire some does? Doesn’t he realize that there are equal rights?  Hey Santa when we gun’a hire some does with fluffy tails…ya jerk.

 And I’m tired of being left on the roof while you’re inside having milk and cookies. I’m think’n real strong about turning you in for animal abuse plump boy. How about the time I let you drive. We were so lost. If it wasn’t for Tinker Bell we’d still be in Never-Never Land.

Chorus:

My name is Rudolph I’m a red nose deer. I’m the sleigh guider that special day a year. I’m not one to complain but I got something to say. Without me that big man is nobody. Yep… My name is Rudolph I’m your red nose deer…

Merry Christmas everyone…..

WORD OF PEACE

Devastation seems so endless of the world I love so much. Let’s band together with humanity’s golden touch. Enough have died…we feel the pain our hearts are broken so The endlessness of life that’s lost many countries has grown to know.

We watch the news on TV devastation routinely seen So many wars of broken hearts lives lost to such extreme. The love that’s spilled over souls that’s lost fuels the wars we know So many have gave their lives on a belief they won’t let go.

Chorus}

A world of peace within our hands Attained by those of strength To find the courage to talk as one To see that peace may meet Work together to find the peace I know this can be done. So spread the word that change has come Humanity has been won

Stop killing of our precious lives every country can do this well Giving up the hate that blinds singing peace we know to tell We can live together on this earth in peace I know will sing Regardless of the name you call the beloved our glorious King

So hear me now lands close and far come together and be as one Let heal the hearts, let’s talk together I know this can be done Will save this earth our lives as well our children will see the peace Will come to know to live as one the word will never cease.

As you hear this song that I wrote the word must spread so far Your lands will sing the word of peace that’s played with this guitar Let’s pray to the one you love the world will see the change Knowing that we can live as one and humanity will remain.

We need to stop this worldly hate we know it can be done Replace the wars with communication instead of using guns We’ll work as one…side by side combined our friends and foe To heal the world of its pain peace we’ll come to know.

Chorus}

A world of peace within our hands Attained by those of strength To find the courage to talk as one To see that peace may meet Work together to find the peace I know this can be done So spread the word that change has come Humanity has been won So spread the word that change has come Humanity has been won

KAREN I MISS YOU

I remember the day went we met your hair was brown and mine was red …you were pretty We met through friends as I recall a day I can’t forget at all…so pretty Scott and Ron and Mickey too all of us had just met you…we were dazzled. But you looked at me with those eyes of pearl and we knew at once you’d be my girl…It was magic

CHORUS:

Karen I miss you I wonder where you are I remember my first love And wonder if you do Cause it was you, it was always you Karen I miss you.

The love we shared so long ago my leaving I just don’t know… what happened? I ponder from time to time of the love I left behind…what happened? But we were kids and I said good-bye I find there’s nights I want to cry…I miss you Today your gone I don’t know where I heard you’ve had a baby girl…I’ll bet she’s pretty

CHORUS:

Karen I miss you  I wonder where you are I remember my first love And wonder if you do Cause it was you, it was always you Karen I miss you

I’ll move a long from days that pasted knowing it was my last…to hold you You’ve always been in my mind and never too far behind… my memory So I’ll rest here tonight my dear and cherish the memories…about you As I look at the moon above knowing we were so in love…I miss you.

Karen I miss you I wonder where you are I remember my first love And wonder if you do Cause it was you…it was always you… It was you…it was always you… Karen I miss youI miss you

JUST ANOTHER DAY

I’m traveling just to keep my sanity But the roads seems to go nowhere The days are long and the nights drag on And I suppose I really know your not there

Chorus:

The sun will rise I know I must keep moving. The memories I hold within my heart It breaks my heart to know your life has ended. So today I’ll try to make another start. It feels like forever that I held you My life seems to tumble from day to day. I know I must be dreaming holding you in my arms. Then I awake and find it’s just another day.

Verse:

I find myself holding back the tears I think about the love we shared for years I know that life not over so I’ll keep on moving on. And I’ll try to stop the crying of these tears.

Chorus:

The sun will rise I know I must keep moving. The memories I hold within my heart It breaks my heart to know your life has ended. So today I’ll try to make another start. It feels like forever that I held you My life seems to tumble from day to day I know I must be dreaming holding you in my arms Then I awake and find it’s just another day.

Music

½ Chorus}

It feels like forever that I held you My life seems to tumble from day to day I know I must be dreaming holding you in my arms Then I awake and find it’s just another day. Yes I awake and find it’s just another day.

I’M LOSING ME

 My mind seems to fade I get lost from day to day.                                                  Strangers at my door I’ve seen them there before.

Choirs:

Time rushing bye I see the glitter in your eyes But my memories playing games I’m losing you and losing me.

Oh darling please don’t go My memory start to slips There’s a stranger in my house Honey where have you been?

Choirs:

Time rushing bye I see the glitter in your eyes But my memories playing games I’m losing you and losing me.

Bridge: It’s like I’m standing in the cold And I’m growing weary and getting old.

Choirs:

Time rushing bye I see the glitter in your eyes But my memories playing games I’m losing you and losing me.

 I’m losing you and losing me.

THE EMPTINESS WE DO

Last night I had a dream an angel spoke to me. We talked about ones that died for the freedom that we see. I’ve seen so many die…the blood… the tears… the screams. The sacrifice of many united for a dream.

Chorus}

The pain of loss is many in the wars we know are true We deal with loss of loved ones and the emptiness we do

Verse}

Thoughts of war surround me as I start to slip. The howling of the madness screams across my lips. In the year of forty-one I witnessed so much pain. Twelve-Seven and Nine-Eleven the image looks the same.

Chorus}

The pain of loss is many in the wars we know are true We deal with loss of loved ones and the emptiness we do

Bridge}

Even though I’m older I still feel the pain Of everyone that died for freedom to remain.

Chorus}

The pain of loss is many in the wars we know are true We deal with loss of loved ones and the emptiness we do                                       Yes the emptiness we do

For a greater emotional impact the song needs to be Sung by an elderly senior citizen One that remembers Pearl Harbor “Walter Brennan Type”

ROUND AND ROUND WE GO

It’s Sunday afternoon and I’m strapped down in my chair With my engine running the green flag a coming On a Sunday afternoon

Chorus:

Round and round I go On a race track that I know I’m settling back as I hit the track Round and round I go

I’m riding in my chair and I start to shift the gears The recliner falls and I hit the wall That’s when the wife appears

It’s the living room you knuckle head I think that’s what she said But with my helmet on no harm was done So out of the pit I come

Chorus:

Round and round I go On a race track that I know I’m settling back as I hit the track Round and round I go

Jeff is in the lead, Jimmie shifts up to speed Round and round I go Dale’s at my side and now I’m squeezing by Checker flag a fly’in high

Chorus:

Round and round I go On a race track that I know I took the lead I had the speed Round and round I go

 Round and round I go On a race track that I know I’m settling back as I hit the track Round and round I go Yep …I win again.  Round and round I go

This could be a great TV commercial. Can you see this guy sitting in his easy chair drinking a Beer or Coca-Cola with his helmet on while someone like Blake Shelton singing this song. NASCAR Corp. and the Beverage Companies would love it. A great theme song for NASCAR “Round & Round We Go”.

THAT GLORIOUS FLAG

She flies in our town when all is asleep. A beacon of hope and freedom she seeks. Many have died for glory we seen The sacrifice given so we can be free.

Chores}

So proud I am to fly our flag for the entire world to see She’ll stand so tall for one and all from shinning sea to sea

I’m so proud of that flag and for the world to see What that glorious flag has done for me. She had flown in the battles of the cold winter seas. Fighting for freedom we’ve all come to see.

 Chores}

So proud I am to fly our flag for the entire world to see She’ll stand so tall for one and all from shinning sea to sea

So I’ll look at the flag every day of my life And think of soldiers that’s given their lives. The Army and Navy the Marines and the Guard The Air Force together all working hard.

Bridge}

So remember the flag the soldiers and more She’s given us freedom the flag I adore.

Chores}

So proud I am to fly our flag for the entire world to see She’ll stand so tall for one and all from shinning sea to sea

So proud I am to fly our flag for the entire world to see She’ll stand so tall for one and all from shinning sea to sea

THE BOYS ALL ENVY ME

We swing and talked for hours in the moon of Dixie Land. Your father watched from the window as we held each other’s hands. His shot gun lay beside him I felt his eyes on me. Thank god he doesn’t know of the sex by the old oak tree. His daughter thinks I’m rich I drive a Cadillac. I’m just three payments out and the banker wants it back.  I’d like to leave this porch and drive away real fast.  But my wallet always empty and my Caddy’s out of gas.

Chorus:

Your father is a jerk he doesn’t really see. I’m a man of substance and the boys all envy me. I’m big and strong and dam good looking and he thinks that I can’t see.  That he’s standing at the window with that shot gun aimed at me. If I run real fast I think I can hide behind his truck. He’s drunk as hell and can’t shoot straight he may be out of luck. So here I go; I’m off the porch; I’m running through the yard.  I’m behind the tree; I’m at the truck; I’m breathing pretty hard. I’m in his truck I see the keys I’m backing out the drive. I think I may keep his truck and I’m glad I’m still alive. Keep the caddy your daughter too I’m trading for the truck. I found the title and signed your name and I’ll send you twenty bucks…       ha, ha.

Chorus:

Your father is a jerk he doesn’t really see. I’m a man of substance and the boys all envy me.

Yep…the boys all envy me
