OH HOW I WAS WRONG

I never thought I’d see you again to hold you in my arms I never thought you’d return to me to share a love so warm But there you were within my arms as you lay upon my chest. We held each other as the night went on Oh’ the tenderness.

Chorus:

I never thought I would hold you I thought that time was gone. I didn’t think I would feel your love Oh… how I was wrong

My eyes are closed; I feel your love we’re swaying through the night. Your gentle touch that warms my soul a love that feels so right.

Chorus:

I never thought I would hold you I thought that time was gone. I didn’t think I would feel your love Oh… how I was wrong

To think that you were gone…it was wrong so it seems. I will see you tonight… this I know… if only in my dreams.

Chorus:

I never thought I would hold you I thought that time was gone. I didn’t think I would feel your love Oh… how I was wrong Oh… how I was wrong

TWO BOYS AND A GIRL

There was a time I would dream about falling in love But as time went on that dream seems to fade. Some say it’s a soul mate you’re dreaming of Emptiness in my heart that craving for love I dream of a family maybe two boys and a girl And a wife that adores me Oh what a world

Chorus}

I’m dreaming of you how silly this seems Aching for tenderness that lives in my dreams I dream of the day that our hearts will collide You’ll know I’m the one and I’ll know you’re my bride

In prison I awake from the dreams of the night Remembering the man that I killed with the knife He took my sister in the woods for his deeds When I caught him this was all I could see. So its time for lights out and I’m hoping for a dream Of a family of children and a wife adoring me

Chorus}

I’m dreaming of you how silly this seems Aching for the tenderness that lives in my dreams I dream of the day that our hearts will collide You’ll know I’m the one and I’ll know you’re my bride

Bridge}

I’ve been told I’m a bad man…maybe I am But the one killed my sister…won’t do it again

1/2 Chorus}

So I’ll dream of the day that our hearts will collide You’ll know I’m the one and I’ll know you’re my bride Yes…my bride

THE LORD IS BY YOUR SIDE

His hand’s held out to except your love Today could be the day The path is there so you can find your way. He cry’s for you, he pleads to you He’s bleeding from the cross He laid his life in the father’s hands So you will not be lost

Chorus:

He walks with you, and he talks to you The lord stands by your side His love for you is always there.

The promised love from up above You need to take a step It’s time for you to hold his precious hands. So take a look at the life you lead Look within your heart See the change and except the lord Make a brand new start

Chorus:

He walks with you, and he talks to you The lord stands by your side His love for you is always there.

Forgive me lord I know I’ve sinned I open up my heart Except me lord I want to make a start

Chorus:

Yes he walks with you, and he talks to you The lord stands by your side His love for you is always there. Yes his love for you is always there. It’s always there.

A NAME I CAN’T FORGET

 I got the call in the night there’s been an accident. A boy was drunk behind the wheel a tragedy was sent.   They said that all had not survived my heart was breaking so It’s the night my girls had lost their lives buried in the snow

Chorus}

Drunk that night he destroyed his life my wife and daughter too. They told him not to drink and drive was all he had to do. There so drunk behind the wheel and speeding all through town.  I lost my girls that night we laid them in the ground.

Verse} Years has past and I see my heart start to open slow There is someone that I met that time will not let go Her husband died a heart attack so many years ago. They had a child together she said his name was Joe.

Chorus}

Drunk that night he destroyed his life my wife and daughter too. They told him not to drink and drive was all he had to do. There so drunk behind the wheel and speeding all through town. I lost my girls that night we laid them in the ground.

Bridge}

She told me her husband name was William McPhee. Blinded from a memory then I began to see Her son had died she said his name was Joseph Scott McPhee. Who’s name that sent a tragedy to the loving family of three.

Chorus}

Drunk that night he destroyed his life my wife and daughter too. They told him not to drink and drive was all he had to do. There so drunk behind the wheel and speeding all through town.  I lost my girls that night we laid them in the ground.

BURY ME IN SCOTLAND

Because I am a Scotsman to the clan that I belong  My family came from Scotland so won’t you come along  From the Highlands to the lowlands and from the mountains to the seas… To the loch Ness in the Glens a vision comes to me. Walking through the clover and ferns are in the sun, the lilies by the shore   I feel that we are one. My heart belong to Scotland I want the world to see the hills that bring the magic and the love inside of me.

Chorus:

Bury me in Scotland where the grass is greener then the rest     Retuning to the Clan display our family Crest     My heart belong to Scotland they’ll all come to see As they lay me in the ground what Scotland meant to me

Years of war that she’s seen with the English they have fought  To gain their independence the fighting of the Scot’s The battles that were fought supporting each and all  The spilling of the blood, So many had to fall

Chorus:                                Bury me in Scotland where the grass is greener then the rest  Retuning to the Clan displaying the family Crest  My heart belong to Scotland they’ll all come to see As they lay me in the ground what Scotland meant to me

CLASSY NOT BRASSY

                             1/19/18

When the boys are on the prowl with expectation on their mind                                               They come to my arena and show me that their blind  You say that I am brassy you boys with a truck   If you could see beyond your nose you may have better luck

You excided little boys I’m confused as I can be Someone that’s in heat is all that I can see  So ya want to be a cowboy… chase the girls all night long                                                   You should really give some thought about singing the right song

Chorus} You boys that’s on the prowl with expectation in their mind.  I’m a Classy Little Lassie and don’t you waste my time You seem to be confused of a word  that you call brassy  If you had sophistication you might have found me classy The nerve of those guys to think I’m a brassy little lassie I’m a independent woman and most think that I am Classy

So you boys on the prowl with expectation in your mind  Come a little closer and I’ll show you what you’ll find Maybe someone gentle…or maybe someone rough But you will find… I have no time … for those not sure enough

Chorus} You boys that’s on the prowl with expectation in their mind. I’m a Classy Little Lassie and don’t you waste my time Yep…don’t you waste my time

SHE’S A BRASSY LITTLE LASSIE

                                                                                          3/3/07

She’s a brassy little lassie. She’ll shoot you from the hip. A Scottish little redhead god knows that she’s a trip. When the boys look at her they see that auburn hair. When they lay their hands upon her she’ll bust them with a chair.

Chorus:

 The boys are on the prowl with expectation in their mind. There is a brassy lassie a challenge they will find. She’s a brassy little lassie the humor that she shows What takes to reach her heart no one really knows?

So if you meet this little one beware of what you do. She’ll break your heart you lonely boy. This I know is true.

Chorus: The boys are on the prowl with expectation in their mind. There is a brassy lassie a challenge they will find. She’s a brassy little lassie the humor that she shows What takes to reach her heart no one really knows?

Bridge

She’ll give you a special look I’ve seen it once before So make the move you silly boy And find a slamming at the door

1/2 Chorus:

The boys are on the prowl with expectation in their mind. There is a brassy lassie a challenge they will find.

Aw… she a brassy little lassie Yep… I mean a brassy little lassie

Chorus}

I ride a horse name Blazer He’s tall and likes to run Playing the part of a cowboy A six pack and my gun. I smile at all the girls I’m happy they can’t see That I’m just a New York Yankee And this saddle’s killing me.
